The process of abrading materials has been in existence for thousands of years. It is done by hand or by machines. Materials are cut, crushed and grounded to develop a wide range of products. Since 1800s the process has been in prominence and is referred to as mining.
Of late the process is entirely automated. End drills and rotary cutters are attached to a drilling machine and from a given workplace material is removed. Due to the diverse collection of drill bits and milling ends, the process of mining is capable of producing everything. This includes gun parts, jewellery, cutting boards etc.
Through the use of varying tools and mining techniques, a series of procedures have been established in the mining industry of today. A process is referred to as end milling.
More about end mills
End mills differ from other milling process due to the form of coating that an abrasive material produces. Unlike drill bits and cutters, end mills have teeth on both sides and at the end of the mill. Vega Tools offers end mills that are exclusive in all aspects. Even the applications of end mills are unique. They are specially used in applications that require tracer milling, profile milling, plunging and face milling. To meet specific application needs they are manufactured with various designs, lengths, diameters and protective coatings.
